Higher Contrast Colour Schemes for Windows Users

  1. From the computer Desktop, select “My Computer”.
  2. Then select “Control Panel” followed by “Accessibility Options”.
  3. Within the “Display” tab, make sure the “Use High Contrast” check box is checked.
  4. Click on the “Settings” button.
  5. Select your preference under “High Contrast Appearance Scheme”.
  6. Click on “OK” to exit the Settings window.
  7. Click on “Apply”.
  8. If you like the new display settings, then click “OK” to exit the Display tab. However, if you do not like the new display settings, then repeat steps 4 through 8 until you find the colour scheme that works best for you.
  9. Finally, close the Control Panel window.
